Danglers (53*) and Spud guided Crusaders to a closely fought draw at Grenfell. Set a modest 141 for victory, only Gordy and Weepy Wilsdon joined Moysey in double figures as Crusaders finished ten runs short of target with the last pair at the wicket. Darren and Timmo had  the lion's share of the bowling, with economical spells meaning Grenfell scored at only 3 runs per over.

-v- Swanscombe & Greenhithe 17th May 1998

Neil Morrison struck an entertaining 63 in the Swanscombe wind-tunnel, as Crusaders set our hosts a target of 195. A depleted Swanscombe were then put to the sword, with Spud taking 4-5 and Wilsy 2-9 as they succumbed for just 20.
