Catford Wanderers match washed out

In a match reduced to 35 overs Crusaders had to settle for a draw after rain curtailed their pursuit of 198 runs for victory. Wajih and Slapdash had taken the score to 33 without loss from 8 overs before persistent rain halted proceedings.

Latest News

Crusaders win at Blue Bell Hill, followed by excellent 20/20 victory at Elthamians. A stand of 148 for the 4th wicket between Wajih (63) and Uncle Abdul (72) helped Crusaders to an imposing 251-6 from 40 overs. Blue Bell Hill made a good fist of the chase to finish all out on 212, with Pommie (3-20) starring with the ball.
Monday's 20/20 produced a good all round display in the field, with Elthamians bowled out inside the full allocation. Glenn Timms was in fine form with the ball and was well supported by Chucker Chand. Slapdash ensured there was little anxiety in the chase, bludgeoning a rapid 45 and sharing an opening stand of 75 with Darkie Paine (with a name like that he will surely feature highly in Wajih's thoughts).
Full reports coming soon.

Reports for the victories at Great Dunmow and Rainham coming soon from the pen of Wajih.
